命理堂 · BaZi & Zi Wei

命理堂 is a Chinese metaphysics web app: enter birth data, get automated 子平八字 (Zi Ping BaZi) and 紫微斗数 (Zi Wei Dou Shu) charts, plus a structured analysis report. We built it end to end — and we keep shipping improvements with the client so the product stays useful in production, not stuck at launch.

What we delivered (foundation)

• Birth-form intake (calendar date, time, gender, focus area) with a polished Chinese-first UI
• Automated BaZi charting — four pillars, hidden stems, ten gods, nayin, major cycles
• Zi Wei Dou Shu — twelve palaces, main stars, and four transformations
• Day-master strength, pattern reading, favourable / unfavourable elements
• Printable structured report: character, career & wealth, relationships, health, and practical guidance
• Deployed on Vercel with analytics so the client can see real usage

How we keep improving with the client

Shipping the first version was only the start. As 命理堂 used the app with real people, we iterated together:

• Bilingual UI and full reports (中文 / English) — language toggle across forms, charts, and narratives so English speakers get plain product English, not stiff literal translations
• Plain-language report summary at the top of the analysis — a layman-friendly overview before the deeper chart detail
• Smoother birth intake — native date/time pickers, required name for personalised reports, last form saved for return visits
• Malaysia-ready defaults — Kuala Lumpur as the default birth city for local users
• Continuous copy and UX polish so each release is clearer and easier to trust

That is the partnership model we stand by: listen after launch, tighten the product, and help the client deliver — whether that means clearer copy, better forms, or a second language for a wider audience.

Outcome
